This leaves, for selection - not an excuse for a p*** up though that sounds good, the following:

Gaj - in the UK
Abs - in the UK
Steve - plays for Barbars
Craig - bohemians
Tim - enough on my plate
Ben - wife will have a baby in May
Scott - said he would play for PCC this year. Well that is what he told me after a fair few pints. Something about life membership, though Bohemians seems more realistic. I sure we will hear if from the horse's mouth. He normally has something to say. If we listen is another discussion

I've recruited Sunny Roy for the Summer League

So it seems to me like the sum of the conversations mostly not held on this thread is:

There are two aspects, on-field captaincy and the team organising job.

The suggestion is that we have a little committee that share the work of finding/selecting players.

I suggest that we call this the Board of Selectors (coz it sounds good) and within that we appoint a 'Chairman of selectors'

Do we think that this is a good idea?

If so can we please have some volunteers for the Board of Selectors?
